Getting in sync with the cost-conscious consumer
UKTV Food, the TV food channel, has introduced online printable food and beverage coupons into its website to offer an interactive online experience for viewers.
Magazine publisher IPC Media is to provide visitors to five of its key websites with a range of consumer-printable coupons for redeeming in-store.
It comes from a new partnership with digital marketing specialist Couponstar, using its white-label CouponNET platform for distributing FMCG and retailer coupons via the internet.
It involves five key IPC websites, including Now and What’s on TV, offering added value to loyal online users, with other IPC sites likely to join the programme in coming months.
Users will be provided with the latest coupon offers online for traditional in-store redemption at leading supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. Coupons immediately available across the five sites include offers from brands such as Ocean Spray, Dolmio, BIC, Pedigree, and Emmi.
Andrew Horton, director at IPC Plus – the division of IPC responsible for brand licensing and syndication – said: “The partnership with Couponstar enables us to deliver genuine added value to our users’ brand experience. As well as being able to provide our readers with tangible rewards for their loyalty on some of the biggest sites in the IPC digital portfolio, through the CouponNET network we are now able to offer a far more targeted and effective opportunity for FMCG and retail brands to engage with us on an ongoing basis.”
Jared Keen, managing director of Couponstar, added: “This represents another significant step in Couponstar’s development and further consolidates our position as the UK’s leading printable coupon provider in terms of both content and reach. We look forward to developing the relationship further and expanding into even more IPC titles over the next 12 months.”
