Multinational technology retailer Best Buy has hired Richard Clark as head of online marketing. He will be responsible for setting the online marketing strategy for Best Buy in the UK ahead of its launch in spring 2010. His strategic remit will include defining how to maximise Best Buy’s presence on all online marketing channels for launch and business growth. Clark joined retail group DSG in 2007, initially as online marketing manager and most recently was head of ecommerce advertising.

Online voucher specialist Couponstar has appointed Jo Malvern as product and marketing director for its CouponNet publisher network and Stuart Sankey as sales and relationship manager. Malvern was group brand and marketing director of Pigsback.com, while Sankey was product development director at TLC.

Digital and direct marketing agency Ruby has appointed Dominic Moira as art director and Kieron Roe as copywriter. Both previously worked at Grand Digital where they held the same positions respectively.

Adtech has recruited Kenneth Parnham as country manager for the UK and Ireland. He leaves his position as director of European ad operations at Adlink.

Lemon Digital, the digital production house, has recruited Chiara Consiglio as producer. She leaves her position as technical production manager at Logan Tod.

Pricerunner has promoted Marc Thomas to head of sales and partnerships. He joined in 2005 and was most recently head of sales.

Digital creative agency Public has hired Laure Couret as account manager and Ursula Fuchs as production manger. Couret joins from GT where she was senior account executive, while Fuchs moves from GeekIT in Australia where she was account manager.

Eurosport Events has appointed Jean-Louis Dauger as director of operations. He was previously Renault’s director of marketing in Spain.

Communications agency CMW has hired Erminia Blackden as senior account planner. She was previously strategic experience director at research agency Mesh Planning.

T-Mobile UK has appointed Helen Wylde as head of pre-pay marketing. She was head of customer marketing at Lloyd TSB General Insurance
