Google engineering director to spearhead Couponstar's product development & innovation

Steven Horowitz joins parent company Coupons Inc as Chief Technology Officer

Couponstar Ltd, the interactive coupon solutions company, today announces the appointment of Steven Horowitz as CTO of both its parent company and technology provider Coupons, Inc.

Horowitz, the engineering director who recently helped oversee Google’s development of the Android mobile operating system and software – joins the Coupons, Inc. team as internet-printable coupons experience significant growth on both sides of the Atlantic and states this was one of the key reasons for his move to the company. As Horowitz explains, “Coupons.com and CouponNET have fast become two of the world’s leading online brands, so this is a very exciting opportunity, The companies are at a pivotal point in their business, and I am eager to help further advance the development and deployment of new platforms and services for digital promotions throughout the US, the UK and Europe.

As Couponstar’s parent company, Coupons, Inc. is responsible for its product innovation, software development, maintenance and technical support, and as such Horowitz’s appointment will have a key impact on the direction of the business. As Jared Keen, Managing Director at Couponstar explains, “Steven will be actively involved in both steering the strategic direction of Couponstar's product innovation and overseeing its day to day software development and engineering work.
